Use this guide to understand where booking actions live and when to use Messages, booking-card actions, support requests, and closeout prompts.
Use My Bookings as the source of truth
My Bookings is the main workspace for active, upcoming, in-progress, review, completed, and cancelled bookings. If you hire equipment and also list equipment, switch between Hiring and Listing views to see the correct side of each booking.
Check booking status and dates.
Open invoices or booking documents when available.
Use the action buttons shown on the booking card.
Use the right channel
Messages are for coordination, access notes, timing, and practical handover details. Booking-card actions are for structured workflows that need a reliable record, such as cancellation, extension, payment retry, delivery confirmation, photo uploads, settlement adjustments, or admin review.
Close out the hire
Some hires require start photos, return photos, SMU or hour-meter readings, safety checks, renter confirmation, owner inspection, final settlement, or review before the booking fully closes.
Complete the prompts shown on the booking card rather than relying on message history alone.
